Club Roadside vs the On-Hire Breakdown Policy

Overview

Club Roadside is roadside assistance for your own trips in your RV, and it is included with every Camplify Personal and Premium membership.

  • Who can use it: you and any nominated drivers of the RV registered to your Club Camplify membership.
  • Which vehicle: your nominated Club Camplify RV — a towable (caravan or camper trailer) or a drivable (tow vehicle, campervan or motorhome up to 4.5t GVM).
  • Where: Australia-wide, subject to availability in remote areas. Remote towing is only included with Club Roadside Plus.
  • When it starts: 48 hours after your membership starts, or after you upgrade (30 days for Club Roadside Plus accommodation and transport benefits).

Club Roadside is a roadside service with set limits. It is not insurance.

  1. Fair use: Club Roadside is for genuine breakdowns. We may limit or decline help where use is excessive or unreasonable, for example repeated callouts for the same fault that hasn’t been repaired, or using Club Roadside instead of regular maintenance.
  2. How the limits work: Each callout is covered up to $250, and towing has its own separate limit. For example, if a patrol attends a metro breakdown and your RV then needs a tow, up to $250 is available for the callout and up to $300 for the towing. All costs count towards your annual limit. Once you reach it, any further costs are yours.
  3. Accommodation and transport: Apply only when the breakdown is more than 100km from home and the RV is off the road for more than 24 hours.

  • Accidents
  • Bogged or off-road recovery
  • Parts and repairs, replacement batteries and tyres
  • Breakdowns that happened before your cover started
  • Anyone other than you, a person eligible to drive your RV for personal use under the MyWay Protect PDS, or a nominated driver

Costs and claims:

  • Any cost above a limit is yours. If it is not paid directly to the provider at the time of the event, it will be invoiced directly to you.
  • Plus members can claim accommodation and transport costs by emailing receipts to customersupport@camplify.com.au within 30 days, with your rego and the date of the incident

If you break down: call Camplify on 02 4075 2000 and select option 4 for Roadside. Provide your nominated RV's registration and advise that you are using Club Roadside for personal use.

Renewal and cancellation

  • Included Club Roadside is part of your Personal or Premium membership and ends when your membership ends.
  • Club Roadside Plus renews each year automatically unless you cancel. We’ll remind you before your renewal date.
  • You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops your next renewal, and your benefits continue until the end of your current year. We don’t refund the unused part of your annual fee, except where required by law.
  • If you cancel your Personal or Premium membership, any Club Roadside Plus upgrade ends at the same time.
  • Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
